Our dual-purpose chicks are mixed breed with high qualities of Rhode Island Red and Barnyard Chicken. These hardy chicks posses traits of excellent survivability and high forage characteristics. At the age of 4-6 months the hens will begin laying good brown eggs. The roosters reach the butchering age at around the same age yielding quality meat for roasting or frying.
